That Coltrane album was my high school go to and I’m in my late 40’s 😎. I started listening to it again out of the blue a few months ago - I’m glad it’s in the ether!
I love reading the Big Dog. I wouldn’t be the first person to see the parallels between pro wrestling and standup comedy and your writing about driving with Marc Maron reminds me of the old stories of wrestlers driving loops together like you and Maron did.
Man, you should commit to regularly writing these posts! Read excerpts to my wife this morning during coffee time and we were loving it. Enjoy your full nose breathing while the gettin' is good!
Goggins is real talented! I hope you are manifesting one day working with him!
I first saw him on the show "The Unicorn" which was a feel good comedy sitcom. Freaking hilarious on Righteous Gemstones and giving Clint Eastwood in Fallout.
If you like melodic songs I highly suggest the socal bands Lagwagon (particularly the album "Let's Talk About Feelings") and No Use For A Name (albums like More Betterness and Keep Them Confused) The Orange County punk scene changed my life in the 90s, they were the ones giving the biggest middle finger to the industry by not contorting to what MTV wanted them to be.
Congratulations on your successes and thanks for sharing your blessed perspective! Hope your time continues to be awesome!!!
